Why I Started My Business Blog?

This post shares who am I and why I decided to start my very own business blog.

Blogging is not something new to me. In fact, up to 2 years ago, I was very active on a travel blog that I started, which doubled up as my portfolio while I was still working as a freelance web content writer. It was also around that time when I got into network marketing and started my journey to success.

Although joining my network marketing company was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made, it was during this time when I made perhaps the BIGGEST mistake of my entire career: I stopped blogging!

Thankfully, things still turned out pretty great for me. In less than a year, I managed to be a really successful team of leaders, win a brand new car, got qualified to a few trips, and even was named as one of the top earners of my network marketing company.

But at the back of my mind, there was that nagging thought about what could have happened had I not stopped blogging? At the same time, it opened my eyes on how many people still approach network marketing. Surprising as it may sound, there are still lots of people out there that try to build a successful network marketing business relying purely on offline methods. I’m not saying that offline techniques are phased out. They are still very useful when it comes to building any home based business. However, with the Internet now so accessible and starting a blog so easy to do, adding this into the mix of ways on how to build your home based business should be something any aspiring entrepreneurs should be doing.

  1. Hi Adele,

How wonderful that I can comment on your very first blog post! You have done such a great job here with writing and especially putting a video on it. Looks like you have been blogging for a long time.

So glad I found you on our Facebook Group. You sure have put a lot of thought into this blog and I will be visiting you

    1. Awww! Thanks so much for dropping by and for the really encouraging words, Donna! I really appreciate them. Looking forward to seeing you here more often.

  2. Hi Adele,
This is lovely site, clean and uncluttered. Blogging is my passion although I don’t do it as often as I should because of other commitments. Blogging provides many opportunities for traffic/leads, subscribers and so much more. I am glad that you realized sooner rather than later, the great opportunities that you had abandoned. Congratulations on what you have accomplished so far, continue with the great service that you obviously plan to roll out to your audience.

    1. Yes, it does, doesn’t it, Vinton? I really had such a face palm moment when I realized that blogging was the missing ingredient in the mix all these years. The great thing is that it’s never too late to start again, right?

  3. Hi Adele…. This is exciting. You stopped blogging and successfully brought it back. Great video, plus a business skills sheet. Wishing you many years of success.
